Head of Iranian Pilgrims Stresses on Following Example of Martyrs of Service
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Abdolfattah Navab while emphasizing the need to follow the example of Martyr President Ebrahim Raisi, and emphasized that as servants of the guests of God "we must institutionalize these characteristics in ourselves".
According to the Hajj Information Base, meeting to honor the martyrs of the service by clerics and cultural servants of Hajj 1403 was held with the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, also the Head of Iranian pilgrims and Seyed Abbas Hosseini, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, with the recitation of verses from Surah Al-Ahzab by an eminent reciter, Vahid Barati and Amir Aref, one of the servants of Imam Reza (AS), recited the eulogy at "Mirage Salam" hotel in Medina.
In this meeting, which was held with the purpose of commemorating the position of the martyred president, Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and the accompanying delegation, about 100 caravan of clergymen, cultural officials, and others attended in memory of those martyrs in an atmosphere filled with tears and sadness.
Therefore, in the continuation of the report, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, in his remarks while referring to the history of his acquaintance with the Martyr President Raisi, stated that from the beginning of his acquaintance with Ayatollah Raisi, this servant of Imam Reza (AS) had many distinct characteristics and "we should adopt him as a model".
He listed several points that can be modeled on this noble martyr and reminded that sincerity was the first characteristic of Ayatollah Raisi and he never felt tired of serving the people sincerely. "Also, his second characteristic was morality and patience and had a good character and treated people and even his ill-wishers like this."
The head of Iranian pilgrims named the third characteristic of this martyr as having good faith and positive thinking and said, "If we have pessimistic glasses, we cannot do anything."
"He did many things to solve the problems of the people and the issue of Hajj, and the hand that works for the people is kissable. Therefore, the martyred president Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi is a proof for us, and the people were also grateful to him, that's why God rewarded his services with martyrdom," he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out the inconvenience of the enemies and at the same time emphasized that the enemies will not be able to hit the resistant nation of Iran and they will burn themselves because the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, is alerting the people and they are aware. "Also, the clerics of the caravans in Hajj should dispel the enemy's conspiracies and rumors with enlightenment. As the Supreme Leader said, 'we will have a Hajj of unity with our Muslim brothers'."
According to this report, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said in another part of his speech about martyred Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran: "Mr. Amir Abdollahian's character, manners and morals are also a role model for us. He was punctual and paid attention to all the moral nuances, and in the few meetings we had with him, he had such a humble attitude towards us that he impressed me greatly. I remember that Mr. Amir Abdollahian was asked why you go to Saudi Arabia so much but you don't perform Umrah? He replied that the people's problems should be solved first, then I will do that."
In the end, the head of Iranian pilgrims gave explanations about the caravan, hotel and headquarters programs to honor the status of service martyrs and reminded that these programs are being carried out and they will visit on behalf of martyrs.
At the end of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab along with Seyed Abbas Hosseini appeared in the lobby of the hotel and talked with a group of Iranian pilgrims.
Next, the head of the Iranian pilgrims and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization visited the "Al-Jad Al Madinah" hotel, where 386 Iranian pilgrims from Kerman province are staying.
During this visit, the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area learned about the situation of Iranian pilgrims in this hotel and a group of pilgrims also came to the representative of the Supreme Leader in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage and while offering their condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, they asked to send their greetings to the Grand Ayatollah Khamenei and praised and thanked those involved in Hajj.
